CPD is a homegrown endeavor founded and operated by Paul Epstein along with his sons Josh and Hayden. At its core a family business, CPD is the product of generations blessed with both an entrepreneurial expertise and an unwavering love of animals.

Josh rescued Kingston, a pit bull puppy, in March of 2007 to give him a better life. Out of curiosity, Josh asked Paul to locate the highest quality dog food available to nourish Kingston back to health. Paul jumped in headfirst, spearheading an obsessive search that culminated in finding an all-natural, high quality dog food, only to find that it was unavailable in the area.

Undaunted, Paul contacted the manufacturer and learned that the product was not available as they did not maintain distribution in the Southwest United States. Paul responded by informing the manufacturer that they had found their new distributor, and CPD began distributing healthy, premium pet foods in February 2008.

Today, under the three-headed leadership of Hayden's operational and project management experience, Josh's marketing and strategic vision, and Paul's passion for sharing top-quality pet food with pet lovers everywhere, CPD is flourishing and continues to expand their operations. We would be remiss not to thank our wives, Judy, Melissa, and Sarah, for allowing us to continue to bring the discussion of "pet food to the dinner table". And of course, a huge thank you to our #1 market research department, Kingston and Diesel, whose taste-testing provides us direction along with the inspiration to bring the best pet food to other consumers.
